You don't know how you'd fit it in to your already busy life.

You love cross stitch, but you've no idea how to run a business.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Annie,

I Co-Founded STTICHFINITY in 2013, when I couldn't find a cross stitch kit I wanted to buy, deciding innocently, to buy some software and create my own. I mean, I'd barely cross-stitched, never been arty and here I was learning how to do all this and start a business (which was also completely foreign to me).

After battling imposter syndrome, creating and testing some hefty patterns, 2 years later, the very first kits were ready to go to market. My first craft show (and second) were massive learning experiences (a nice way of saying pants!), but after this steep learning curve, we were able to start putting systems in place and learning each time we did something - right or wrong!

HOW MY EXPERIENCE CAN HELP YOU

Fast forward a few years and STITCHFINITY has so many achievements I'm proud of:

  • Getting paid to publish patterns in magazines

  • Getting regular press coverage in publications and on blogs

  • Exhibiting at the major craft shows and at Happy Place Festival

  • Wholesaling our kits and having them in shops up and down the country

  • Registering our brand as Trademarked

  • Licensing a top illustrator's designs

  • Rebranding and getting bespoke packaging made

  • Being a respected designer

  • Making a profit

  • Earning enough to go self-employed

My other passion is coaching and mentoring - I'm a freelance performance and executive coach, employed by corporate businesses to help their workforce optimise their performance.

I'd have dearly loved something that showed me what to do when I got started. Not something generic, but something specific to what I was interested in. That's why I've developed Cross Stitch Startup Lab, so that you can shortcut to what you need to know and get your first kit up for sale in just 9 weeks, with the confidence that you're ready to build your business from that point onwards.

INTRODUCING...

CROSS STITCH START UP
LAB

Cross Stitch Startup Lab (1).png

Nine weeks of confidence building and an opportunity to get your first designs released into the wild

Each week, there will be some bite sized online information learning - enough to get you going, not too much to overwhelm you.

Each week, you'll take part in live workshops to go to work on your business. The activities you'll do, will be the basis of your business - you'll be setting it up as you go along. From basic book keeping to your business name, to finding your ideal customer, creating your first kit, selecting your packaging, pricing it to sell. It's all in there.

Each week, you'll get some homework. This is you, building your startup in real time.

CROSS STITCH STARTUP LAB

The Cross Stitch Startup Lab is a nine week programme designed to set you up for success. This is a pilot programme, meaning that it is still under development and will continue to be developed throughout, so there's every opportunity to ask your burning question and get it answered and built in to the programme.

WHAT IS IN THE PILOT PROGRAMME?

The Cross Stitch Startup Lab will be made up of the following:

  • Live and / or video learning weekly with worksheets to fill out, to help you think about each topic.

  • Live Group Workshops - where you get it done in real time

  • Homework that moves you forward in your quest to become a cross stitch designer AND a business owner

  • Group calls to discuss progress / help you through challenges

  • One to one calls to help you move forward and keep momentum - even after the programme is over.

  • An online community area to support each other, cheer each other on and create a cross stitch designer network.

The level of contact with your mentor on this programme is high and would normally cost in the region of £2500, however, in exchange for a once in a lifetime discount, I'll be looking for people who will do the following:

  • Commit to the 9 week programme

  • Provide feedback at regular intervals during the programme and at the end of the programme.

  • Write or video a testimonial at the end of the programme

And for that reason - the expectations I have of you, as well as the high touch nature of this programme, it is priced at only £747  in three monthly payments of £249 each, due

1) when reserving your spot

2)on week 2

3) on week 6

Or if you pay in full up front you'll receive a special extra discount of £50, and the programme will be one payment of £700.

I am deliberately keeping numbers low for this pilot programme so that I can ensure that everyone gets the same level of attention.

Your acceptance onto the programme and payment of the fee is your acceptance of these conditions.

I only want you on this programme if you're serious about starting a cross stitch business. Because, we are going to make this happen.

That's why entry is by application
